Marine Organism Project - Visual Written & Oral
After studying characteristics of life in class, students will select an ocean animal after watching the documentary film "Oceans". Students will research, and write a report about their animal, design a poster board or a PowerPoint to aid them in their presentation, or make a 3D model. The student will learn and demonstrate their knowledge by sharing the following information: the name (genus/species/common name), location (where it lives or its habitat-ecosystem), diet, reproduction, socialization, and behavioral & physical adaptations. Students will write their report notes on index cards to help them remember the important facts about their animal during their presentation.
