Romans 2 Collage
Romans 2 Collage
Students are required to choose one word or phrase from Romans 2 text to interpret in the form of a collage. Symbolism and creativity are encouraged. Three forms of medium must be used and all background of the poster must be covered. In addition to pictures at least one cross-reference verse on the topic must be used. Project is due Wednesday, Sept. 21. Three class periods will be given to project. Materials from home may be used.

FAIR C
Some ideas are executed okay but there is likely a problem with the finished product. Poster is not neat or has some empty spaces on the backing.
POOR D
Obviously lacking a plan. Lacks clarity or graphic appeal. May not clearly identify the word or phrase; some items may not be ideal choices to enhance topic.
CREATIVITY
EXCELLENT A
Excellent use of creative abilities showing much thought and effort. Used unique ways to present collage. Color and texture used well.
GOOD B
Good use of creative abilities showing thought and effort to define topic features. Finished product is cohesive and attractive.
FAIR C
Some creative elements are present in layout and in choices of items used, but they do not make a whole and/or quality is lacking.
POOR D
Little or no creative elements present. Appears to have items slapped onto a backing without a plan or regard to overall effect or meaning.

Excellent detailed representation of word/phrase. More than the minimum of 8 items used. Topic is easily identifiable by the items displayed.

Detailed representation of word/phrase. Minimum of 8 items used. Character is recognizable by the items displayed.
FAIR C
Fair portrayal of word/phrase. Less than minimum of 8 items used. One or two items are difficult to connect to the topic.
POOR D
Nondescript portrayal of chosen word/phrase. Less than 5 items used. Items are difficult to connect to the topic.
FOLLOWING DIRECTIONS
EXCELLENT A
Directions followed as required.
GOOD B
Directions mostly followed but might have a minor flaw.
FAIR C
Directions not completely followed. Something may have been overlooked or omitted.
POOR D
Errors resulting from a lack of following directions adequately. Blatant lack of regard for instructions.
COMPLETION
EXCELLENT A
Collage finished and turned in on time.
GOOD B
Collage mostly finished and turned in on time.
FAIR C
Collage not finished but turned in on time.
