Is this a good picture? Is this a good picture? I will use my rubric to answer this question (see title) myself! Rubric Code: J597C9 By TeachArts Ready to use Public Rubric Subject: Arts and Design Type: Project Grade Levels: (none)

Clarity	Poor main subject not in focus and the image quality is poor.	Fair main subject OR image quality is fine but there is room for improvement.	Good This picture is focused (the main subject at least) and the image quality is amazing!
Lighting	Poor Not enough contrast and the main subject is not illuminated enough.	Fair Either contrast OR illumination is ok but the other aspect needs improvement.	Good Great lighting and it really makes my picture stand out!
Purpose & Concept	Poor Even though I understand the assignment, this picture doesn't demonstrate that I do.	Fair I kinda sorta got the idea captured with this picture.	Good The teacher will want to keep this picture as an example to show others when giving the assignment again!
Multiple shots of the same picture	Poor My battery was low (or some other excuse) so I only got 1 shot of this subject.	Fair I got 2 pictures of the same subject but they look alike.	Good I have 3 or more dramatically different pictures of the same subject by selecting different variables.
Background	Poor I never noticed that kid putting bunny ears on my subjects head (or some other ridiculous background distraction).	Fair The background slightly distracts from the main subject of the picture.	Good The background adds to the overall quality of the picture.
