Eating	Needs Improvement Spoke with mouth full; took too big of bites; did not cut food into appropriate sizes; chewed with mouth open even after multiple prompts.	Fair/Good Cut food into bite size pieces; took appropriate size bites; chewed with a closed mouth after a prompt; did not speak with a full mouth after only one prompt.	Great Cut food appropriately, took appropriate sized bites, chewed with a closed mouth, did not speak with a full mouth without prompting.
Accepting of the unexpected	Needs Improvement Student yelled, or reacted very negatively when an item was on his/her plate; student removed item and put it in an appropriate place; student demanded it be removed.	Fair/Good Student was visibly upset by the unexpected item, and reacted negatively at first. But, he/she was quiet about it, and accepted it with prompting.	Great Student accepted unexpected item quietly and without adult intervention.

Table Talk	Needs Improvement Student used outside voice and/or discussed inappropriate dinner topics and did not stop without multiple prompting.	Fair/Good Student needed several prompts for proper volume level and/or to discuss appropriate dinner topics.	Great Student used an appropriate volume level throughout the meal and refrained from discussing inappropriate dinner topics.
