Poetry Project
	Poor 10 pts	Good 25 pts	Excellent 25 pts
Types of poems	Poor Two or more poems are missing.	Good One poem is missing.	Excellent All of the poems are present. Haiku, sonnet, lyric, narrative, ballad and free verse. Six total.
Visual Effects/illustrations	Poor Three or more parts are missing from the project.	Good One to two parts are missing from the project.	Excellent There are two copies of each poem presented. One has been analyzed. One is pristine. There is an explanation of each poem. The project is in a folder with brads. Each poem has been labeled.
Creativity/Neatness	Poor Project is messy or unorganized. Looks thrown together. Not much effort present. The project was not typed, and did not have permission to hand write.	Good Most of the project is neat and organized. Some effort present. Few pieces look thrown together.	Excellent The whole project looks neat and organized. Much effort present. Nothing looks thrown together or messy. The project was typed, or the student had permission to hand write.
