It was evident that the student made conscious choice in their color application. Some of the edges are a bit sloppy and details aren't applied. They asked minimal questions and made minimal effort to respond to help from the teacher to improve their craftsmanship and understanding

The student showed average craftsmanship and understanding. They have a minimum of three even coats of glaze or nice coating of paint. They have paid attention to color choices and details/edges are neatly done. They have added details with paint or glaze.
Level 5

The student showed above average craftsmanship and understanding. The student has three even coats of glaze or a nice coating of paint. They have paid attention to color choices, details, edges, and blending of paint or glaze to create layers and depth. They have added extreme areas of detail with precision and care. The student worked hard to ask questions and respond to help from the teacher to improve their craftsmanship and understanding

Level 1

The student did not finish work.
Level 2

The student did not finish work in satisfactory manner. The container looks thrown together and includes little to few symbols.
Level 3

The student finished the project but it lacked finished touches. The container is sloppy and the lid doesn't fit properly. There are few symbols on the container. The project could be improved upon with little effort.
Level 4

The student completed the project in an above average manner, yet more could have been done. The container is put together well and the lid fits. There are symbols on all sides of the container but they do not contribute significantly to the design.
Level 5

The student gave an effort far beyond e requirements of the project. The container is put together well and the lid fits well. The symbols contribute significantly to the design.
