Public Service Announcement Public Service Announcement You will be creating a Public Service Announcement on importance of being an upstander in 45 seconds or more. You will be evaluated on the following criteria; Organization - PA flows logically, Content - Commercial explains issue, Eye Contact - focused on Camera, Clarity - audible, Use of music/sound effects - effective to catch attention. Presentation Rubric

Organization	Poor Audience cannot understand presentation because there is no sequence of information.	Fair Audience has difficulty following presentation because student jumps around.	Good Student presents information in logical sequence which audience can follow. Time constraints followed.	Excellent Student presents information in logical, interesting sequence which audience can follow. Time constraints followed.
Content	Poor Content is weak. Facts are inaccurate. Student should have research in more depth. Zero Facts are given.	Fair Student is uncomfortable with information and is able to answer only rudimentary questions. Students includes only 1 statistic and 1 solution. Also can be missing combinations.	Good Student is at ease with expected answers to all questions, but fails to elaborate. Student only includes 2 statistics and 2 solutions.	Excellent Student demonstrates full knowledge (more than required) by answering all class questions with explanations and elaboration. Student includes 3 statistics and 3 solutions.
Music/Sound Effects	Poor Student uses poor music choice / unjustified	Fair Student occasionally uses music that supports presentation.	Good Student's music relates to text and presentation.	Excellent Student's music does an excellent job reflecting its purpose in the presentation. Use garageband in the project.
Eye Contact	Poor Student reads lines obviously without making eye contact with audience	Fair Student occasionally uses eye contact, but still reads lines obviously	Good Student maintains eye contact most of the time but frequently returns to lines	Excellent Student maintains eye contact with audience, seldom returning to lines
Volume and Clarity	Poor Student mumbles, incorrectly pronounces terms, and speaks too quietly for viewing audience to hear	Fair Student's voice is low. Student incorrectly pronounces terms. Audience members have difficulty hearing	Good Student's voice is clear. Student pronounces most words correctly. Most audience members can hear with little effort.	Excellent Student uses a clear voice and correct, precise pronunciation of terms. Student is enthusiastic. All viewing audience can hear without effort.
