Creation of Titles
Excellent
Titles were easy to read. Font choice was readable and different from the default. Title colors and fonts followed a consistent pattern throughout the video.
Good
Titles looked pretty good. Font choices could have been bolder and more consistent looking OR Student used the default font and color.
Poor
Titles were hard to read and did not look professional OR Font varied to much or used colors that were distracting or hard to read with the background chosen OR student had too much text on one screen and should have had separated titles more.
Unacceptable
Titles contained multiple mis-spellings OR Titles were not complete OR student put all the lyrics on <5 screens.
Timing/Transitions
Excellent
Titles were appropriately timed to the music. Any motion applied enhanced the effect and made the video more interesting. Transitions added to the overall look and feel of the piece.
Good
Titles were timed correctly but motion was more distracting than enhancing. Transitions were added to some of the piece but not the entire sequence OR transitions did not enhance the final product.
Poor
Timing was off or motion was either not evident or was used inappropriately. NO transitions were used other than straight cuts.
Unacceptable
Lyric Video is incomplete. No attempt at timing visual lyrics to sound. NO transitions were used other than straight cuts OR <5 edits in the entire piece.
Creative Design
Excellent
Student good combination of background and font. Words were distributed nicely and the appropriate amount of text per page was used.
