	Poor 1 pts	Fair 2 pts	Good 3 pts	Exceeds 3.5 pts
Accuracy	Poor Student reads the story with an accuracy level below 80%.	Fair Student reads the story with an accuracy level between 80% and 90%.	Good Student reads the story with an accuracy level of between 90% and 94%.	Exceeds Student reads the story with an accuracy level of 95% or greater.
Rate	Poor Student reads at a rate below 105 WPM.	Fair Student reads at a rate of 105-125 WPM.	Good Student reads at a rate of 126-140 WPM.	Exceeds Student reads at a rate of 141 and above WPM or higher
Expression and puncuation	Poor Student reads in a monotone voice with little to no attention paid to punctuation.	Fair Reader's voice changes inconsistently with dialogue and punctuation.	Good Reader's voice changes pitch with dialogue and punctuation.	Exceeds Expression mimics conversation with attention paid to voice fluctuation.
