	Poor 10 pts	Fair 15 pts	Good 20 pts	Awesome 25 pts
Student Sentences	Poor Does not contain any student sentences.	Fair Contains most of the required sentences, but you can't tell the vocabulary word's definition from the sentences.	Good Contains all of the required sentences, but you can't tell the some of vocabulary word's definition from the sentences.	Awesome Contains all of the required sentences, and you can tell all of vocabulary word's definition from the sentences.
Story	Poor Does not contain complete sentences and/or has only one or two sentences.	Fair Contains at least one complete sentence with at least one vocabulary word.	Good Contains at least four complete sentences with the vocabulary words.	Awesome Contains all five complete sentences with the vocabulary words.
Vocabulary Word Usage	Poor All of the vocabulary words are used incorrectly.	Fair Most of the vocabulary words are used incorrectly.	Good A few of the vocabulary words are used incorrectly.	Awesome All of the vocabulary words are used correctly.
Heading	Poor Does not contain a heading: name, periods, class, teacher, and assignment.	Fair Contains one of the required parts of the heading: name, periods, class, teacher, and assignment.	Good Contains more than one part of the heading: name, periods, class, teacher, and assignment.	Awesome Contains all parts of the heading: name, periods, class, teacher, and assignment.
