Systems of the Human Body Students are graded on group presentation, haiku poem written, lableling and identifying diagrams, answers to worksheet on Brain Pop videos, participation, and field trip.
	Poor 2 pts	Fair 4 pts	Good 6 pts
Brain Pop Videos 5 review questions on the videos watched in class.	Poor Student handed in the review question but did not complete (either skipped questions or left parts out).	Fair Student completed review questions to their maximum but turned in the assignment late.	Good Student completed review questions on time. Student did not miss questions and answered each question to its fullest extent.
Diagrams Could students label and identify diagrams of the human body.	Poor Mislabeled and misidentified most of the systems (4 or more).	Fair Mislabeled diagrams but was able to identify which system the diagram was.	Good Properly labeled and identified 4 out of 5 diagrams.
Haiku Poem Completed, met deadine, followed 5-7-5, made reference to the human body or a system of the human body	Poor Student handed the poem in more than a day late or incomplete. Did not reference the human body and/or did not follow Haiku guidelines.	Fair Student handed poem in completed (may have been a day late). Student did not follow Haiku guidelines, but did reference the human body.	Good Poem was handed in on time. Poem was complete. Student met the 5-7-5 guidelines of a Haiku and referenced the human body.
Presentation Group presentation. Participation in oral portion, participation in research, worked well with others.	Poor Student did not talk during the presentation. Student did not actively particiapte in group research or discussions. Student was disengaged by activity.	Fair Student did not actively present with the group but did actively involve themselves in the research and other aspects of the presentation.	Good Student actively involved themself with all the aspects of the presentation.
Field Trip Attentiveness, Participation, and Behavior were looked at.	Poor Student attended field trip but: did not actively participate, talked out of turn, or did not follow instructions.	Fair Student attended field trip and was engaged in what was going on. May have being too chatty with classmates or did not participate.	Good Student attended field trip. Actively participated in discussion, did not talk out of turn, was obviously engaged, and followed instructions.
