Math Journal Rubric
	Poor 1 pts	Fair 2 pts	Good 3 pts	Excellent 4 pts
Organization	Poor Warm ups are not in order and a great amount of paper is wasted. No entries are dated.	Fair Few warm ups are kept in order and some paper is wasted. Only one or two entries are properly dated.	Good Most warm ups are kept in order and very little paper is wasted. Most entries are properly dated.	Excellent All warm ups are kept in order and no paper is wasted. All entries are properly dated.
Completeness	Poor No warm ups are completed for dates that the student was present at school.	Fair Few warms ups for the week are completed for dates that the student was present at school. Problem numbers and important information are recorded for only one or two entries. Reflections are too brief and are not in complete sentences.	Good Most warms ups for the week are completed for dates that the student was present at school. Problem numbers and important information are recorded for most entries. Reflections are in complete sentences.	Excellent All warms ups for the week are completed for dates that the student was present at school. Problem numbers and important information are recorded for every entry. Reflections are thorough and in complete sentences.
Accuracy	Poor No warm ups are answered correctly. Student does not show any work and has not taken any notes while warm up is discussed in class.	Fair Few warm up problems are answered correctly. Student has shown little work and has not taken notes to correct any mistakes while warm up is discussed in class.	Good Most warm up problems are answered correctly. Student has shown some work and has taken a few notes to correct any mistakes while warm up is discussed in class.	Excellent All warm up problems are answered correctly.
