Pronounciation

You must pronounce all words correctly, using the Spanish alphabet sounds and not those of the English alphabet. Vowels must especially be pronounced correctly.

Student says all of the presentation without problem and shows understanding of the content with no assistance.
Presentational Skills

Student should give presentation with the use of notecards or memory and should make eye contact with audience. Student cannot stand behind podium or stare at the computer or smartboard.

Poor

Student stands behind the podium reading from the computer or faces the smartboard while presenting. No eye contact with audience.
Below Average

Student stands behind the podium or faces the smartboard for part of the presentation. No eye contact with audience.
Fair

Student reads from notecards but struggles with looking at the audience.
Good

Student uses notecards but maintains a little eye contact with the audience.
Outstanding

Student uses notecards or memory and maintains a great deal of eye contact with the audience.
Student Followed Directions

All directions should be followed, such as writing the correct amount of sentences and using the correct format.

Poor

Directions were not followed. Incorrect format was used or sentences were too few or irrelevant.
