The poster is lacking in elements required. There are many gaps in information presented. Confusing.
Fair
Does not have all of the relevant information of the poster. There is not enough information presented. Information is presented in an unorganized fashion and may be hard to understand.
Good
Poster includes All relevant information; however, it is not well-organized or easily understood..
Exceeds/Excellent
The poster includes All information relevant to the topic. The poster is creative, clear and concise. The students added information above what was taught in class or required for assignment.
Nutrients (20 pts)
Poor
Work is done with little effort, quality is not what the learners are capable of. It is evident that the work was rushed and little time was spent on the final product. Work is incomplete.
Fair
Work is done with fair effort, but the quality is still not what the learners are capable of. It is evident that the work was rushed.
Good
The work was done with good effort that shows what the learners are capable of. It is evident that time was put into this poster and presentation.
Exceeds/Excellent
The work done exceeds all expectations and shows that the learners are proud of their work. The effort that was put into this task is the best it can be by the learners.
Creativity (10 pts)
Poor
Lacks consistent artwork. Very little or no use of creative materials- color, shapes and design. Lack of effort in planning something "eye catching".

Fair
Not very appealing to the eye. Limited use of creative materials. Not alot of color/shapes/design.

Good
Contains students own writing and drawing.Lots of colors, shapes, and appealing design. Shows the students spent time creating an artistic piece.

Exceeds/Excellent
Eye catching. Great use of colors, texture, shapes, and spacing on poster. Artwork is the students' own & is neat. Writing is easy to read. Shows the students can express ideas through art.

Not on required poster paper and/or submitted late. Pieces/items falling or hanging off.
Fair
Poster is damaged, poorly presented. Some required material is present on the poster.
Good
Poster is clean and neatly displayed. Submitted on due date. All materials are present but presentation is lost in the "total" poster look
Exceeds/Excellent
Poster is of exceptional quality and presentation. Submitted on time. Information is "eye catching" and stands out.

Does not meet teachers expectations or students potential. Work is not age appropriate information.

A few areas of project meet teachers expectations or te groups potential. Some information is age appropriate.

Numerous areas of project meets teachers.The age group target is missing a few pieces of information in the areas of requirements.

Meets teachers expectations and students' potential. All students' information is age group appropriate and requirements have been met

The design is very basic with little effort put into the design/layout of poster
Fair
The layout/design exhibits some effort and some attempts were made to make layout unique to the eye
Good
The layout/design exhibits a strong group effort, design is unique but does not "stand out".
Exceeds/Excellent
The groups' thought process was strong and it's very easy to see that a great deal of effort was put into the layout of the poster. The group made a strong effort to do "something different".
