	Poor 1 pts	Fair 2 pts	Good 3 pts
Conventions	Poor Students answers the question in an incomplete sentence and/or includes more than 3 errors in grammar or punctuation.	Fair Student answers the question in a complete sentence with 1-2 grammar or punctuation errors.	Good Student answers the question in a complete sentence with no grammar or punctuation errors.
Spelling	Poor Characters' names and the locations of the story are misspelled.	Fair The names of most mythical characters and locations are spelled correctly.	Good The names of all mythical characters and locations are spelled correctly.
Comprehension	Poor Student does not answer the question correctly.	Fair Student answers the question correctly.	Good Student answers the question correctly and thoroughly.
