Sweating Copper Pipe Sweating Copper Pipe Follow correct procedures to properly assemble and join two pieces of copper pipe. Pipes will be inserted one inside the other making an insertion tube connection. Pipes will be brazed together with filler alloy. Student will have choice of the alloy to be used and the choice of the torch to be used. Cut/Prep Pipe for Assembly	Poor missed doing 2 or more steps on prepping pipe and fitting and doing application of heat and solder. Pipes were not cut to 4 inches.	Fair missed doing 1 step on prepping pipe and fitting and doing application of heat and solder. Pipes were not cut to 4 inches.
