Pictures	Poor Student has 1-2 pictures of their explorer or their explorer's life.	Fair Student has 3-5 pictures of their explorer or their explorer's life.	Good Student has 6 or more pictures of their explorer or their explorer's life.
Facts	Poor Student has 1-10 good facts about explorer.	Fair Student has 11-20 good facts about explorer.	Good Student has 21-30 good facts about explorer.
Neatness	Poor Words are misspelled. Handwriting is sloppy and hard to read. There looks like there was no effort put into the poster.	Fair The poster looks nice. Words are spelled correctly and the student put effort into it.	Good The poster is very neat. All words are spelled correctly. The student put a lot of time and effort on their poster.
Presentation	Poor Student put no effort into their presentation. The student did not have any knowledge of their explorer. The student could not be heard, or understood.	Fair Student presented their poster and had some knowledge of their explorer and were able to answer questions. They were hard to understand.	Good Student was well prepared for the presentation. They knew about their explorer and spoke clearly and loud enough for all to hear.
