Measuring Length: Which line is longer? Students are to first estimate which line is longer by placing an X on it. Students will measure the lines using ones unit pieces and write a sentence to explain how they know which line is longer. Student receives check mark with plus sign.	Good Student demonstrates some use of ones unit pieces to measure and illustrates some understanding for measuring length by giving the number of ones unit pieces used and illustrating in some way which line is longer. Student receives check mark.	Keep Trying Student lacks attending to precision with the use of ones unit pieces to measure lines and is unable to show their work to explain which line is longer. Student receives check mark with minus sign.
