Presentation 50 % Create a pamphlet to describe and analyze at least 6 works of art from the artist you chose from a Spanish speaking country. You must answer the question: How does the artist's work represent his culture and or history?
	Excellent 5 pts	Good 4 pts	Fair 3 pts	Poor 2 pts	Unacceptable 1 pts
Content 5 pts Answers the essential question fully and completes the task.	Excellent Student writes clear information about all work(s) of art using knowledge gained from the class to create meaning.	Good Student writes clear information about more than half of the selected work(s) of art, using knowledge gained from the class to create meaning.	Fair Student writes clear information about less than half of the selected work(s) of art, using knowledge gained from the class to create meaning.	Poor Student writes somewhat clear information about less than half of the selected work(s) of art, but information may not show understanding of the meaning.	Unacceptable Student does not write clear information about the artist and works.
Vocabulary 5 pts Use appropriate vocabulary to describe the art work(s) and the artist(s)	Excellent Student uses rich and precise language to describe work(s) of art and artist.	Good Student uses considerable breadth of vocabulary to describe work(s) of art and artist.	Fair Student uses appropriate vocabulary to describe work(s) of art and artist.	Poor Student uses a limited vocabulary to describe work(s) of art and artist.	Unacceptable Student uses insufficient vocabulary to describe work(s) of art and artist.
Grammar and Spelling 5 pts Edit your work to ensure that grammar and spelling errors are eliminated.	Excellent Student has control of a variety of structures. Excellent command of the written language.	Good Student shows evidence of control of a variety of structures although some grammatical errors may occur.	Fair Student shows minimal control of a variety of structures. May have errors in conventions of the written language.	Poor Student has frequent grammatical errors even in elementary structures.	Unacceptable Student has pervasive errors enough to impede communication.
Works of Art 5 pts Includes all required components including all six sides to the pamphlet. Pamphlet looks professional and inviting.	Excellent All works of art that student includes help to fully answer the essential question. Pamphlet looks fully professional and inviting to the public.	Good Most of the works of art that student includes help to fully answer the essential question. Pamphlet looks professional and inviting to the public.	Fair More than half of the works of art that student includes helps to answer the essential question. Pamphlet looks somewhat professional and inviting.	Poor Half of the works of art that student includes helps to answer the essential question. Pamphlet looks less than professional and inviting to the public.	Unacceptable Works that the student includes do not answer the essential question. Pamphlet does not look professional nor inviting to the public.
