The dancer creates a believable character on stage and is able to engage the audience completely through their performance.

The dancer communicates with other dancers and audience through eye contact and facial and body expression. Is able to engage the audience.
Acceptable

The dancer communicates with other dancers and audience through eye contact and facial and body expression.
Progressing

The dancer has little focus and little attempt made to engage the audience.
Class Participation

Excellent

Student always displays excellent effort during class. Always tries their hardest and is never seen standing around during the class time.
Good

Very good effort. Student tries their hardest and participates in class regularly.
Acceptable

Student tries to do their best. Class participation is satisfactory.
Progressing

Lacks effort and participation during class.
