Independent Research and Reflection Paper 
In this paper, students are expected to define the leadership role of the Instructional Technology Specialist. The definition must include a philosophy of leadership and a comprehensive explanation of how you, as an Instructional Technology Specialist, can be an effective leader who is sensitive to legal and ethical considerations. Resources for this assignment are to include literature regarding leadership and your own experiences as a participant in the class. Graduate-level mechanics, credit to external sources, and professionalism is expected. You will need to do research in addition to class resources to develop this paper. Students are expected to write a minimum of 5 pages and prepare a 10-15 minute presentation for the class on July 20th.
