Body is nearly horizontal in water. Streamline while maintaining body roll.

15 degrees from surface. Some body roll acceptable.

Body position nearly vertical. No body roll. Little forward motion.
Arms

Excellent

Arms extended fully in coordination with body roll. Full extension of the arms at finish. Effective pulling at power phase.

Arms nearly to full extension. Bent pull coordination. Arms stop short in power phase.

Hands enter at or above head. Minimal body roll in coordination with the arms. Minimal power in the pulling phase.
