Effectiveness	Emerging Reads 45% or less of the time with miscues that did not change the meaning of the text, does not self-correct effectively	Beginner Reads 79 to 46 % of the time with miscues that did not change the meanig of the text, is moderately effective at self-correcting miscues	Developing Reads 100 to 80% of the time with miscues that did not change the meaning of the text, is highly effective at using reading strategies and self-correcting
