Poster reflects little effort or seriousness. Very little color and and only one or no visuals. Wrting is hand-written, small and hard to read.
Level 2
Poster reflect some seriousness and effort. Has some color and is creative. More effort could have been put into the visual part of the poster. Wrting is hand-written, difficult to read, but can be deciphered.
Level 3-4
Good use of visuals on poster with typed captions. Visuals are creative and colorful and reflect the seriousness of the project.
Organization & Content
Level 1
Poster is unclear in the message. Poster reflects little time or effort in organization. The tittle, captions and other writing is difficult to read and does not make sense to the reader. Did not include and factual data.
Level 2
Poster has a message, but is vague. Title and other writing is small and not easy to read. Could have put more effort into the organization part of the project. Few spelling or grammitical mistakes. Some factual data evident.
Level 3-4
Poster has a clear, readable message. with true/factual infomation. Title and other writing is easy to read and make sense. Little or no spelling or grammer errors. Great effort on organization.
Overall criteria for project
Level 1
Did not follow directions. Not visually appealing. Unclear message. Turned in something to get a grade, and is relying heavily on other activities and/or assessments to earn a good grade.
Level 2
Did not follow direction. Bland/boring in appearance. Eventually able to figure out what message is being conveyed. Turned in something semi-decent to get a grade, and is relying on other assessments and/or activities to earn a good grade.
Level 3-4
Followed instructions almost to the letter. Visually appealing, with factual and/or relevant information. Can understand what concern is being addressed. Student knows project is a reflection of what was learned in class, but is lightly relying on other activites/essay to cover points.
