SAFETY & SANITIATION

Students are expected to respect and follow all school and program safety rules for their safety and all other students in class.
Practices Serve-safe techniques.Clean person, chef jacket, apron, gloves and proper hair restraint.

Student is a role model to other FS students by consistently observing safety and sanitation practices and assisting teacher in double checking that all supplies are replenished and all areas meet safety and sanitation requirements.

STAYS ON TASK ACCORDING TO JOB KEY

Students are expected to stay on task from start to finish while following job key. This involves picking up,cleaning tools,area,equipment
and putting every thing away that the student had taken out. Completes task.

Student is a role model by not only consistently staying on task, but has ability to multi-task and assist other students.

Student completed the job task that was assigned and followed job assignment key with very little or no prompting from instructor.Tools and equipment,work area cleaned, picked up and put away. Completed task.

Student usually completes the job task that was assigned and followed job assignment key with minimum prompting from the instructor. Tools,equipment,work area mostly cleaned, picked up and put away.

Student has to be prompted to complete the task assignment by instructor.
Tools, equipment and work area was not cleaned properly, items were not picked up and put away in the proper manner. Barely completed task.
Poor

Student did not start or complete his/her job task.Has to be constantly prompted to stay on task.
Student did not follow any steps job assignment key.
Work area was not cleaned and nothing was put away. Did not completes task.
