	Excellent 40 pts	Acceptable 30 pts	OK 20 pts	Not OK 10 pts
Posture	Excellent straight back away from chair BOTH feet on the floor instrument supported and balanced elbow matches level of strings	Acceptable back straight but leaning back feet not planted on floor elbows not quite in line with strings	OK sitting far back in chair feet crossed, wrapped aroung chair legs balance way far back elbow too low for strings	Not OK instrument supported by hands or stomach feet crossed or stretched out in front balance is gone elbows glued to thighs
