Building Arrays Unitizing and partial products	Expectation NOT Meet Student does not understand that known products can help understand unknown products. Student is unable to understand groups and that groups of groups can be used to find products.	Meets Improvement Student can use groups of groups to solve problems. Can utilized known products or partial products to solve unknown arrays.	Exceeds Expectations Student is developing the memorization of multiplication and can easy refer to the answer from memory when working with groups of groups. Has a fast and flexible understanding of partial product to solve equations.
Organization Using a t chart	Expectation NOT Meet Student does not use, or know that a T Chart can be used, as a tool of solving or verifying an answer.	Meets Improvement Student uses a T-chart and has some understanding of how the units on the left correspond to the units on the right.	Exceeds Expectations Student utilizes, understands the relationship between each groups of number, and has the correct answer to most pairs.
