Advertising Communication Flyer/Institutional Promotion 
Students must create a slogan and jingle for an Institutional Promotion that focuses on the image of the Institution as being positive. The Institution that you will uses in Midland Valley High School. The advertisement must be a flyer and must use the three communication message approach. It must persuade, inform and express. ( Reference Chapter 36 in your assigned textbook, pg. 473). You may use the internet, magazines or art supplies. If you want your flyer printed in color you must save it to a flash stick and I will print it out for you.

Students must create a flyer for a favorable image for an Institution (Midland Valley High School). The Advertisement (Flyer) must use all three communication messages to convey a positive image. It must persuade, inform and express the Institution. A slogan and a jingle must introduce your flyer/presentation

Great

All components of the assignment for Institutional promotion are present and are done in an exceptional manner. The flyer (Ad) is in color and has all three elements. The jingle and slogan are exceptional.
Fair

one to three of the components of the assignment are not present, and or the flyer is not very colorful.
Poor

More than three of the components of the assignment are missing and or a jingle or slogan is not presented for the Institution.
Preparedness

Student does not read from flyer (Advertisement) and can explain Institutional promotion in detail through the persuade, inform and express method of communication. Student is fully prepared for presentation and explains their logic for the Institutional Advertisement.

Great

Students show that they are completely prepared and have rehearsed before the presentation.
Fair

Students seem to be pretty prepared but maybe should have rehearsed more.
Poor

Students do not seem prepared to present.
Posture and Eye Contact

Student displays confidence and competence in their presentation.

Students stand up straight, look confident, speak clearly, and make eye contact during the presentation.
