Title page	Poor You have no title page OR your title page has no correct formatting.	Fair The formatting of your title page is somewhat correct.	Good The formatting of your title page is mostly correct.	Excellent The formatting of your title page is completely correct.
Spelling / Grammar	Poor Your writing has many spelling and grammar mistakes. You have made no effort to correct obvious mistakes.	Fair Your writing has several errors in grammar and spelling which make it difficult to understand.	Good Your writing has a few errors in spelling and/or grammar. Paper is easily understood.	Excellent Your spelling and grammar are virtually error free.
Organization	Poor Your paper has no organization and is difficult to understand.	Fair Your paper has very little organization and is difficult to understand.	Good Your paper is mostly well-organized and is fairly easy to understand.	Excellent Your paper is very well-organized which makes it easy to understand.
Corrections Made from Rough Draft	Poor Your rough draft and final paper are identical. You have made no changes to your final paper.	Fair You have made some of the corrections noted in your rough draft.	Good You have made most of the corrections noted in your rough draft.	Excellent You have made all of the corrections noted in your rough draft. Your final paper is completely correct.
Citations (within the paper)	Poor You have no citations in your paper.	Fair You have a few citiations listed in your paper.	Good You have several correct citations throughout your paper.	Excellent You have correct and appropriate citations throughout your paper.
Works Cited	Poor You have no works cited page OR your works cited page has no correct formatting AND/OR you do not have 5 sources.	Fair The formatting of your works cited page is somewhat correct AND/OR you are missing 3-4 sources.	Good The formatting of your works cited page is mostly correct AND/OR you are missing 1-2 sources.	Excellent Your works cited page is correctly formatted, has at least 5 sources and at least 1 source that is something other than an internet source.
