Bien Conversation includes a good variety in vocabulary, using much of the vocabulary we are studying, and uses most of the words accurately.	Très bien Conversation includes lots of variety in vocabulary, using almost all the vocabulary we are studying, and uses each word accurately.
Grammar	Peu satisfaisant Conversation uses few grammar structures, or has many grammatical mistakes.	Satisfaisant Conversation uses the basic grammar we are studying, and has some mistakes.	Bien Conversation uses the basic grammar we are studying, plus others we already know, and has occasional mistakes.	Très bien Conversation shows a good command of the grammar we are studying, plus other grammar we already know, and has few mistakes.
Pronunciation	Peu satisfaisant Pronunciation is hard to understand, or shows no effort to pronounce French correctly.	Satisfaisant Pronunciation is understandable, but there are many sounds produced incorrectly.	Bien Pronunciation is understandable and most sounds are produced correctly.	Très bien Pronunciation is understandable and nearly all sounds are produced correctly.
