Understanding of Circumstances	Poor Scene is misunderstood. Actor lacks understanding of circumstances, relationship, and conflict	Fair Scene is only mildly understood with basic understanding of the circumstances, relationship, and conflict	Good Scene is understood with good understanding of the circumstances, relationship, and conflict	Excellent Scene is very well understood with clear demonstration of circumstances, relationship, and conflict
Preparation	Poor No preparation was done for the scene. No phrases or references that were unfamiliar were researched.	Fair Some preparation was done for the scene. A few phrases and references were researched.	Good Preparation was done for the scene. Phrases and references were mostly researched.	Excellent Actor was fully prepared. All words, phrases, and references were researched and brought in ahead of time.
Projection and Diction	Poor Lines are not clear and not understandable. No projection.	Fair Lines are muddled but slightly understandable. Only about half of what is said can be heard.
