3D Block Font Design 3D Block Font Design Students will use the letters of two of their names to design a 3D block font composition. The letters will appear as if they are floating in space using size, overlapping and placement to create depth. Drawing font	Poor Letters are drawn haphazardly (diagonal lines are slanted in the wrong direction, horizontal and vertical lines are curved or slanted). Erased letters are visible.	Fair Some letters are drawn correctly but most have lines drawn inaccurately. Erased letters are visible.	Good Almost all of the letters are drawn carefully. Mistakes have been totally erased.	Excellent Letters are drawn carefully in the 3D block letter font. Mistakes are carefully erased.
Depth - Space	Poor Overlapping, size or placement are missing in the creation of depth. The space has not been balanced with letters.	Fair Overlapping, size and placement have been used to create depth. Large and small letters have been placed randomly. Erased letters are still visible. An attempt has been used to balance the space.	Good Overlapping, size and placement have been used. Most of the large letters are near the bottom and most of the smaller letters are at the top of the paper. The space is balanced with letters.	Excellent Overlapping, size and placement have been used to show depth. The larger letters are near the bottom and the smaller near the top of the paper. The space has been balanced with letters.
Color	Poor Coloring is out of the lines. No attempt has been made to color the tint of the hue on the front and the shade on the top and the sides of the letters.	Fair Coloring is mostly in the lines. Most letters are colored with the tint of the hue on the front and shades on the sides and top.	Good The coloring almost all in the lines. The letters have the tint colored on the front and the shade on the sides and bottoms.	Excellent The coloring is neat and inside of the lines. Tints are on the front of the letters and their shades are on the top or side of the letters.
