Content multiplier of 10	0 No main idea.	1 Unclear main idea. Ideas are unfocused, scattered, or not present. Mostly filler. Sources used, but not correctly.	2 Main idea is unclear and scattered. Few ideas, much filler. Sources used.	3 Main idea is mostly clear and focused. Ideas are developed. Some filler. Sources used correctly but not quite effectively.	4 Main idea is clear and focused. Ideas are well developed. No filler. Sources used effectively.
Organization multiplier of 3	0 No structure.	1 Very little to no structure. No transitions used.	2 Structure is lacking. Transitions are sparse or repititious.	3 Structure of paper is mostly logical and is primarily sequential. Transitions were found throughout the writing, but not all were clear.	4 Structure of paper is logical and develops as it progresses. Transitions are found throughout the writing and all were clear.
Directions Followed multiplier of 3	0 Directions were not followed at all.	1 Directions were not followed well.	2 At least half of the directions were followed.	3 Most of the directions were followed.	4 All directions were followed.
