Color The most important element of a design	Excellent Exceptional use of color in the design. Color concept is easily understood.	Good Good use of color in the design. Overall concept could be clearer.	Fair More thought needs to be put into the color. Design needs some tweaking.	Poor Unclear color combinations. Design seems haphazard with no focus.
Form Refers to shape.	Excellent Exceptional use of design. Intended shapes and textures are clearly defined.	Good Shape is somewhat defined but is a little confused. Textures are not as clearly defined as they should be.	Fair More thought needed to shapes of rings and texture elements need more consideration.	Poor Design work lacking in texture and/or shapes. No clear design concept.
Mechanics Mechanics include the appropriate use of materials.	Excellent Mechanics are strong, stable, and long lasting. Has made notations about solder and sequence of constructions.	Good Mechanics are stable and the should stay together. More notations about solder and sequence would be helpful.	Fair Mechanics should stay together. A little thought has been applied to solder and sequence. But there are questions.	Poor The design lacks mechanics. No thought given to solder and sequence. Lots of unanswered questions, will the design hold together?
