This rubric is meant to help guide you in the creation of your Google Slideshow - 'Same, but Different'. Each category in the far left column represents a part of the project that you will need to consider in regards to your effort and the quality of what you produce. Read the rubric carefully before, during and after the creation of the slideshow, to ensure that all the required parts of your presentation have been included and all other criteria have been met.

Fair

Less than the required information is included and some relevant information is missing. Description is lacking and the information is not in a logical order.
Poor

Less than the required information is included AND/OR poster does not contain relevant information. Copied notes. No order.
Presentation/Graphics

Excellent

Poste is attractive. Text is easy to read. Pictures and/or graphics are used throughout to enhance presentation.
Good

Poster is attractive. Text is easy to read. More than half of the poster uses pictures and/or graphics to enhance presentation.
Fair

Poster is easy to read, and there's a basic balance of text and pictures on the page. Less than half of the poster has pictures and/or graphics.
Poor

The poster is not easy to read and doesn't look attractive. There is little use of pictures and/or graphics.
Spelling and Grammar

Excellent

Capitalization and punctuation are correct throughout the presentation. There are no spelling errors and all sentences make sense.
Good

There is less than 2 spelling errors on the presentation and all sentences make sense.
Fair

There are less than 4 spelling errors on the presentation and only a few sentences don't make complete sense.
Poor

There are many spelling errors on the presentation and lots of sentences don't make complete sense.
Use of Class Time

Excellent

Used time well during the class sessions. Focused on getting the presentation completed.
Good

Used time well during the class sessions. Usually focused on getting the presentation completed.
Fair

Used some of the class sessions well. There was some focus on getting the presentation completed but occasionally distracted.
Poor

Did not use class time to focus on the presentation OR distracted others. Reminders were given to stay on task.
