Student was out of their seat, talking, or doing other things instead of working on the project and participating.
Level 2

Student was not using their time efficiently on the project and had to be reminded to get back to work. Participation in the discussion was very minimal.
Level 3

Student worked on the project the entire class time and participated in the group discussion.
Level 4

Student gave it 110%. They participated in the group discussion, asked questions, as well as assisted others who were struggling.
3-D Flower with Paint

Were the petal cut neatly and creating petal shapes.

The petals were not cut neatly and was not painted

The petals are cut neatly and curled but were not painted.
Level 3

The petals are cut neatly and curled up very nicely. The flower petals are painted using the appropriate color (pink).
Level 4

The petals are cut neatly and curled up exceptionally well. The flower is painted in various tones of pink and painted all over the flower using the correct technique.
Impressionist Style

Did the student paint in a impressionist style?

Painting is incomplete.
Level 2

The painting is complete but shows little to no impressionistic style of painting.

Painting is complete and shows understanding of impressionist style.
Level 4

Painting is complete and shows complete understanding of impressionist style. I can tell planning was involved when student chose what colors to go where.

Did the student use the appropriate colors.

Level 1

Student did not use any correct colors.
Level 2

Student used some correct colors.
Level 3

Student used all appropriate colors.
Level 4

Student used all appropriate colors and shows understanding of how colors should be placed on a painting to create a good composition.
