Simple Machine mini-books The students made Simple Machine books. The books should have definition of the 6 types of simple machines and pictures of each. All books should have printed pictures from the computer and some students may have a few drawings. Neatness	Fair Spelling is incorrect, sloppy writing, and there is no order to pictures.	Average Some incorrect spelling, writing is mostly legible, and pictures are in order.	Above Average No incorrect spelling, writing is neat and legible, the pictures are glued neatly and in order.
Quantity of pictures	Fair There are few to no printed pictures.	Average There are several printed pictures and some drawings.	Above Average There are a lot of printed pictures. There are also drawings.
Effort	Fair This project was rushed through quickly. There is a lack of neatness and pictures.	Average This project was done to meet the standards set by the teacher and this can be seen by the quanity of pictures and neatness.	Above Average This project was completed in a timely fashion and goes above the teacher's expectations. This project consists of many pictures (more than the necessary amount) and is very neat and organized.
