Minority Presentation Rubric
	Excellent! 4 pts	Very Good! 3 pts	Needs Work. 2 pts	Not yet 1 pts
Organization	Excellent! Presentation was very organized and was very easy to follow. Transitions between obstacles were clear.	Very Good! Presentation was fairly organized and pretty followable. Transitions might have been slightly discontinuous but did not take away geatly from the overall presentation.	Needs Work. Presentation was not clearly organized. Transitions between ideas were awkward.	Not yet Presentation lacked organization. Presentation lacked order and very difficult to follow.
Content	Excellent! The student had a stronghold on the content and content was thoroughly addressed. No mistakes were made with regard to content knowledge. All Obstacles were mentioned in the presentation.	Very Good! The student had a solid understanding of the content. Content missing minor elements or contained minor errors.The student mentioned some of the obstacles.	Needs Work. The student had only a superficial understanding of content. Several mistakes were made during the presentation. Only briefly mentioned obstacles that affected the scientist.	Not yet The Student had no understanding of the content addressed in the presentation.
Visual Aid(s)/Props	Excellent! Visual aids/Props used were used effectively throughout presentation. The student used visual aids as a supplement, not as a crutch.	Very Good! Visual aids/Props used were somewhat effective, but weren't used consistently thoughout presentation.	Needs Work. Visual aids/Props used did not support verbal presentation. They lacked information.	Not yet Visual aids/Props were not used at all.
Conclusion	Excellent! The student mentioned a solution that the community faces with a possible solution.	Very Good! The student briefly mentioned the solution to the problem the community faces.	Needs Work. The student makes no mention of the problem the community he/she talked about.	Not yet The student made no effort to research the problem.
