After listening and discussing an excerpt from the “I Have a Dream” speech by Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., •Students were asked to write one or two sentences about their personal dreams about how people can cooperate and get along in the future for a better world. •Students will draw a picture about their personal dream for a better future. •Students will use prior knowledge and the “I Have a Dream” dream cloud to write their answers to the question, “Do you have a dream for a better world?
