Preparation	Excellent The student has a bulleted PowerPoint presentation or note cards, but does not read off of them. The speech has been thoroughly praticed and parts memorized.	Average The student has a bulleted PowerPoint presentation or note cards, but reads off of them occassionally. The speech has been adequatley practiced.	Poor The student has a bulleted PowerPoint presentation or note cards, but reads off of them frequently; or the student has a PowerPoint presentation or note cards with large masses of text. Little practice is evident.
Manner of Speaking	Excellent The speaker excels at proper posture and gestures, appropriate rate/voulme of speaking, eye contact, poise, and professionalism.	Average The speaker has adequate posture and gestures, rate/voulme of speaking, eye contact, poise, and professionalism.
