	Needs Improvement 5 pts	Meets Standard 7 pts	Exemplary 10 pts
Content	Needs Improvement Only one thought or behaviour. Visuals have little connection to the ideas.	Meets Standard 2 thoughts or behaviours are included. Visuals are slightly connected to the ideas.	Exemplary 3 or more thoughts or behaviours are included. Visuals support the ideas which are significant.
Mechanics	Needs Improvement Several spelling, punctuation, and/or capitalization errors are present and hinder the viewer's understanding of the content.	Meets Standard One to two minor errors in spelling, punctuatation, and/or capitalization are present but do not detract from the content.	Exemplary All words are spelled correctly; punctuation and capitalization is correct.
Appearance	Needs Improvement Poster appears rushed for completion; messy writing,	Meets Standard Poster appears somewhat unbalanced due to lack of content, very small writing/drawing. Too much unused space.	Exemplary Content is spaced so it covers the majority of the poster in a balanced manner. Writing/typing is neat and legible. Illustrations enhance the poster's content.
