The proposal is sound, but lacks clear connection to the garden.
The presentation is based only on library research or only on field research and it does not give full consideration to the interests of people at the garden.
Poor

Students do not draw upon their disciplinary strengths to develop a project that is considerate of the garden's needs.
The proposal only reflects student interests and it is unclear how the gardeners will be able to implement or maintain this project.
Teamwork
Good
It is evident that students worked together to design their proposal. Each person is well prepared to give their part of their talk.
Fair
Some students exhibit greater responsibility than others.
Poor

Presentation
Good

Fair
Student does not use distracting hand gestures or other body language. Student speaks loud enough to be heard, but lacks enthusiasm.
Poor
Student reads his or her part and does not look up to engage his or her audience. The student speaks too low to be heard or too fast to keep up with.
Organization
Good

Fair
Transitions between speakers or topics are disruptive and exhibit lack of thought and preparation.

Fair
Visuals did not all enhance or support the presentation.
Poor
Media used was irrelevant or no medial was used.
Photosynthesis and cellular respira
Good
Perfectly used a scientific description of photosynthesis and cellular respiration as the link between plants and other living things and their necessity to exist together as evidence for the need for a community garden
Fair
Used a mostly accurate scientific description of photosynthesis and cellular respiration as the link between plants and other living things and their necessity to exist together as evidence for the need for a community garden
Poor
Used a somewhat accurate scientific description of photosynthesis and cellular respiration as the link between plants and other living things and their necessity to exist together as evidence for the need for a community garden
