The students will use repetition, rhyme, metaphors, similes, and imagery to create a song lyric to be submitted to the Country Music Hall of Fame words for lyrics educational program. The students theme is evident throughout his writing.

Student writing is unclear, and filled with fragments and spelling mistakes. The writing is not broken into stanzas.

Needs Improvement
There is the use of figurative language but their is not the use of repetition in the writing. The theme of the writing is unclear because the repetition in the song lyrics is not stated.
