Effective Appropriate materials were selected and modified to create a model.	Ineffective Inappropriate materials were selected and contributed to a product that performed poorly.
Chromosome criteria X2	Outstanding Included all required aspects of DNA model.	Effective Included some of the required aspects of model (2-3 criteria left out). Can still see double-helix structure.	Ineffective Included almost no required aspects of DNA model (more than 4 criteria left out). Materials used to produce something hard to recognize as a chromosome.
