Interview Questions	False Far Below Questions were irrelevant to the event.	Approaches The questions in the presentation were simple, literal questions and did not vary much.	Meets The questions in the presentation varied, but focused too much on simple ideas.	Exceeds The questions varied in type and were relevant to Even. Higher thinking questions (not just a basic "What happened?") were used correctly.
Answers	False Far Below The scientific answers to the interview were not given.	Approaches The answers only stated basic information or incomplete explanations.	Meets The scientific answers stated the correct scientific facts. Details describing the events were present, detailed and accurate.	Exceeds The answers went about basic descriptions and also taught/reviewed the audience a lot about earthquake and volcano science.
Visual Aide	False Far Below The visual did not represent understanding.	Approaches The visuals attempted to help teach the audience. They had limited details and little creative expression/art work.	Meets The visuals gave good support the the interview answers. They directly connected to interview and the audience benefited from them. The were neat and large enough for all to see.	Exceeds The visuals added to the overall interview. They led the audience through a professional session where they depicted the science behind earthquakes or volcanoes like real scientists. The work is colorful, neat, interesting, and detailed.
