Greeting	Keep trying. Student does not use a greeting. Inappropriate greeting.	You're getting there! Student attempts greeting, but doesn't complete in English.	You made it! Student uses approprite and complete greeting.
Inquiry	Keep trying. Student uses a statement.	You're getting there! Student asks a question about product, but formality level is wrong.	You made it! Student uses appropriate question and formality level.
Clarification/Verification	Keep trying. Student smiles and walks away. Or just walks away.	You're getting there! Student repeats instructions, but has errors. Doesn't try to clarify again.	You made it! Student repeats instructions and/or ask questions to ensure understanding.
Farewell	Keep trying. Student walks away.	You're getting there! Student smiles and says, "OK" or "yes." Farewell is lacking "thank you."	You made it! Student smiles, says thank you and walks away.
