American Contributions We have studied the contributions that Benjamin Franklin, George Washington, Betsy Ross, and Abraham Lincoln have made for our country. As writers, we wrote a thank you letter to one historical figure. We focused on sentency fluency, conventions, and organizaton. Practitioner Writes detailed sentences with some supporting evidence. Some sentences start differently. *The flow from one sentence to the next can be read easily, but has some awkward patterns.	Apprentice Writes simple sentences with minimal evidence. Sentences start the same. *Awkward language patterns break the flow of the piece.	Novice Writes a basic opinion sentence. Sentences start the same. *There is no overall flow.
