Eating	Poor Spoke with mouth full; took too big of bites; did not cut food into appropriate sizes; chewed with mouth open even after multiple prompts.	Fair Cut food into bite size pieces; took appropriate size bites; chewed with a closed mouth after a prompt; did not speak with a full mouth after only one prompt.	Good Cut food appropriately, took appropriate sized bites, chewed with a closed mouth, did not speak with a full mouth without prompting.
Using Manners	Poor Student did not use manners without multiple prompts.	Fair Student used manners with less than 2 reminders.	Good Student used manners without being prompted.
Finishing Food/No Thank you bite	Poor Student refused to finish food or take a no thank bite with or without multiple prompting/coaxing.	Fair Student finished food and/or took a no thank you bite with minimal prompting/coaxing.	Good Student finished food and/or took a no thank you bite independently.
Correct Use of the Utensils	Poor Student did not use utensils correctly at all. Student did not use salad fork for the salad.	Fair Student used the correct utensils for 50% of the dinner time.	Good Student used the correct utensils for 100% of the time.
Table Talk	Poor Student used outside voice and/or discussed inappropriate dinner topics and did not stop without multiple prompting. Student used profanity two or more times.	Fair Student needed several prompts for proper volume level and/or to discuss appropriate dinner topics. Student Used profanity one time.	Good Student used an appropriate volume level throughout the meal and refrained from discussing inappropriate dinner topics. Student did not use profanity in conversation.
