Book Report Choice Rubric. Book Report Choice Rubric. The student will write a book report (at least one page) on a book of their choice. They will need to include the title, author, setting. Content of Report Report contains title, authors name,type of book,main characters, setting, and summary of the book.	Excellent The report covers all of the necessary content in detail (5 of the required parts).	Good The report covers most of the necessary content in detail: (at least 4 of the required parts).	Fair The report covers most of the necessary content in detail: (at least 2 of the required parts).	Poor The report does no cover all the necessary material.
Organization of Report The report contains choices completed from the book report choice form.	Excellent The report contains all 6 choices completed.	Good The report contains 4-5 choices completed.	Fair The report contains 2-3 choices completed.	Poor The report is unorganized. There is 0-1 choices completed.
Grammar and Spelling	Excellent The report has very few minor errors in grammar, punctuation, or spelling, or no errors at all.	Good The report has few minor errors in grammar, punctuation, or spelling.	Fair The report has many errors in grammar, punctuation, and/or spelling.	Poor Ther report has not been checked for any grammar, punctuation, and/or spelling errors.
