Conclusion is not present. Essay just ends.

Conclusion is present but not effective. It does not provide closure for the essay.
Proficient

Conclusion provides a sense of closure but does not qualify as excellent. Conclusion does not leave final provoking thought for readers.
Exemplary

Conclusion is effective and gives readers a sense of closure.

Emerging

The overall presentation of the essay displays a lack of proofreading and attention to detail. While the essay MIGHT be readable, it is uncomfortable and unprofessional.

Essay contains several errors, most are not distracting to the reader.
Proficient

Essay contains a few errors, but they are not distracting to the reader.

Essay contains one or two errors.
